Global Radiotherapy Solutions

Innovative Radiotherapy Equipment and Systems for Modern Cancer Care

Radiotherapy is one of the most effective cancer treatments available today, playing a role in the care of more than half of all cancer patients. As treatment techniques become increasingly precise, healthcare providers need integrated solutions that combine advanced technology, intelligent software and reliable clinical support.

Global Radiotherapy Solutions, part of the Global CanCare ecosystem, brings together leading technologies for external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy, helping hospitals and cancer centres build efficient, cost-effective radiation oncology programmes. From equipment selection and treatment planning to commissioning and long-term lifecycle support, our ecosystem helps organisations implement radiotherapy with confidence.

Who We Are

Advancing Radiation Oncology through Connected Expertise

Modern radiation oncology is built on a combination of advanced technology, clinical expertise and well-designed workflows. Choosing the right radiotherapy equipment is only one part of the equation - successful treatment also depends on planning, implementation, quality assurance and ongoing optimisation.

We work with leading technology providers and specialist partners across every stage of the radiotherapy journey, helping healthcare organisations access the expertise needed to establish new treatment centres, expand existing departments or modernise ageing infrastructure.

Whether the requirement is a single medical linear accelerator (LINAC) or a complete radiation oncology department, our ecosystem supports projects from concept through clinical operation.

Industry Snapshot

Precision Radiotherapy Is Shaping the Future of Cancer Care

Cancer incidence continues to increase worldwide, driving demand for advanced radiotherapy solutions that deliver more accurate treatment while improving patient safety and departmental efficiency.

Half of All Cancer Patients

Radiotherapy plays a role in the care of more than half of all cancer patients, making it one of the most widely used treatments in oncology.

Increasingly Precise Treatment

Techniques like IMRT, VMAT, SBRT and adaptive radiotherapy are raising the bar for accuracy, safety and departmental efficiency.

Growing Global Demand

Rising cancer incidence is driving investment in new radiation oncology programmes and modernisation of existing departments.

Our Capabilities

Technologies that power modern radiation oncology

Medical linear accelerators (LINACs)

The medical linear accelerator (LINAC) remains the foundation of modern external beam radiotherapy. It generates high-energy X-rays or electrons that precisely target tumours while minimising radiation exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.

Today's LINAC platforms support advanced techniques including Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS). When selecting a system, healthcare providers should consider patient volumes, imaging capabilities, treatment complexity, automation features and long-term service requirements - not simply beam energy or treatment speed.

Brachytherapy systems

Unlike external beam radiotherapy, brachytherapy places radioactive sources directly inside or adjacent to the tumour, allowing high radiation doses to be delivered while limiting exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.

It remains a clinically important treatment for cervical, prostate, breast and selected skin cancers, either as a standalone therapy or in combination with external beam radiotherapy. Modern HDR systems improve treatment precision, reduce procedure times and support consistent clinical outcomes.

Treatment planning & oncology software

Every successful treatment begins long before the patient enters the treatment room. Advanced treatment planning systems combine CT, MRI and PET imaging to accurately define tumour volumes, calculate dose distributions and optimise treatment plans before therapy begins.

Integrated oncology software also manages scheduling, image review, plan approval, treatment records and multidisciplinary workflows, helping reduce errors while improving efficiency across the department.

Patient immobilization & motion management

Accurate treatment depends on patients being positioned in exactly the same way during every treatment session.

Modern patient immobilization systems - including thermoplastic masks, vacuum cushions and body positioning devices - help minimise movement and improve treatment reproducibility. For tumours affected by breathing or organ motion, dedicated motion management technologies enable greater targeting accuracy while protecting nearby healthy tissues.

Installation, commissioning & clinical implementation

Installing a radiotherapy system involves far more than placing equipment inside a treatment room. Every system must be integrated with imaging, information systems, treatment planning software and quality assurance processes before clinical use.

Commissioning verifies beam performance, treatment accuracy and system safety through extensive testing, ensuring the equipment is ready for patient treatment and complies with applicable regulatory and clinical standards.

Quality assurance & lifecycle support

Radiotherapy demands exceptional accuracy every day - not just at installation. Continuous quality assurance (QA) verifies machine performance, treatment delivery and calibration throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Routine QA, preventive maintenance, software updates and technical support help maximise uptime, extend equipment life and maintain consistent treatment quality, ensuring patients continue to receive safe and accurate care.
